Our hectic schedule of summer ball is almost coming to an end. While it has been a long season, the boys have been so excited and have made a lot of improvement. Seeing the boys enjoy the sport has made all the time and effort involved worth it!
Connor thought he was pretty cool when he hit an "in the park home run" today. Of course, a few errors on part of the gold team helped him out! He still ran the bases like a pro and sped to homeplate. The kid has some serious wheels when he needs them! Note his batting gloves in his back pocket...the first day of practice he took his bat bag, batting gloves, helmet, and glove. Pretty serious stuff for a kindergarten t-ball team!
Mason finished up his first season of IBL on Saturday with a record of 27-3. We saw him grow tremendously as a ball player and more importantly as a team member. I love seeing the boys encourage each other and realize the importance of working together to reach a goal. He made some great friends along the way and really enjoyed himself, which is what's most important in our eyes!

Cedarloo North Stars - 1st place in Valley Conference and 2nd place in the Gold Bracket
Owen has been a trooper the entire season. At first I dreaded those double headers, not knowing how I was going to entertain him for 3 hours. But he soon discovered ways to keep himself busy...playing in the dirt, eating, finding a playground, eating, keeping up with Connor and his buddies, eating, coloring, eating, and playing with Lydia! Do you notice a pattern? IJ, one of Mason's buddies, also named him the team mascot. (I'm not so sure this is a good thing since they are usually animals!)
Owster and some of his baseball buddies!
